After receiving his Associates Degree in Hotel / Restaurant Management from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, Mike went on to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Clarion University.
Mike gained his sales experience with Fuhrer Eagle Sales representing and growing Budweiser sales which is where he gained valuable sales experience with selling a brand. Mike then devoted his experience to Mrs T’s Pierogies, growing the military foodservice segment both state side and overseas including managing all domestic prime vendors as well as overseas prime vendors. In addition, Mike gained valuable experience with Mrs T’s by managing brokers who called on various segments of the foodservice industry ranging from C/U, B&I, and K-12. After Mrs T’s, Mike became Vice President of Sales with Pro Foods, focused on military sales representing various food manufacturers ranging from center of the plate (beef, seafood, chicken) to flour and vegetables.
In addition to Mike’s passion for the business, he brings a wealth of experience to S&H, most notably his prime vendor and center of the plate experience. His knowledge about formulating plans from both a sales execution standpoint as well as ensuring all government processes have been adhered to have been duly noted.
On his off time Mike enjoys time with his wife and daughter in and around Bradenton, FL. He is actively involved with his 5 year old daughter’s activities. He also makes time to hang out at the beaches and when time permits enjoys a round of golf.
